First newborn of the year, yay!

I’m HOPING I can stick to my new years resolution of blogging every session on time this year - I always get midway through the year, up to my ears in editing and go OHHHH OOPS!

This baby though, is a great way to begin.

Elsie’s fam actually live interstate but during that two week period where we photograph these bubbas, they were down in Geelong and it ALSO happened to be just after Christmas/NY, so it’s not that easy to find a photographer! I was getting back to work pretty quickly though so I squeezed them in.

Elsie’s big bro made me laugh out loud a few times - he walked in wondering where my ballpit was? (I mean for real, that would be fun) and then admonished me for stealing his baby sister, finger waggle and all!

He did an amazing job in the family and sibling shots - check out the beaming smile.

Little sis Elsie also did what she came for - she seriously stole the show.

Elsie’s mama actually booked me partially because she wanted some gorgeous colours in her session, not just the ever popular neutral palette, so we included some beautiful pastels and pinks and purples. Love it!
